The current iteration of Hero bash has ended (actually ended some time ago). I am sorry for the lack of information from my part. I have had my hands full with real life things (starting at a new job, for instance), but this is no excuse for my poor communication.

Let me assure you that Hero bash is not dead. I will not stop working on it until it is complete. It has been a hobby project of mine for at least 3 years now and it has grown for every iteration I have released. Not only has the game improved but so has my skills as a programmer. I have been able to create more and more advanced and flexible systems for Hero bash. The world of Forlorn has also grown and become more evident and well-defined.

So when will we see the next iteration of Hero Bash, you ask. The short, but vague answer to this question is: most likely at the beginning of 2008. The bad news is that I can only allocate my free time to Hero Bash, which I don't have that much of. The good news is that during my "silence" I have been working on the backend and almost completed it. That leaves mostly frontend work left.

In conclusion, I have two announcements to make:
  • A competition will be held soon. More details about this event will be released shortly.
  • I am in search for a talented graphics artist whom is capable of producing high quality icons and concept art for the game. Compensation, in the form of payment for the work will be extended. However, due to the fact that this fee will come out of my own pocket I won't be able to offer that much. Send samples of your work to me (address below).
